About Mühlerama

About Mühlerama
The heart of the museum is the industrial mill from in 1913, which was converted into a museum in 1986. During opening hours, the mill is put into operation and explained by a miller. This way, the mill still produces many tons of flour each year. In our permanent exhibition the cultural history of milling , the Tiefenbrunnen mill and the Wehrli miller family are presented in a vivid and interactive manner.

Every year, a special exhibition on current topics of diet, health and sustainability is shown.

The museum offers a wide range of workshops and guided tours for children and adults. Particularly popular are our bread baking courses, guided tours through the historic mill and the special exhibitions.
Mühlerama has gained an excellent reputation as a lively, exciting and sensual museum over the years.
