Unser Museum ist eigentlich eine Mühle. 
Die über 100-jährige Industriemühle Tiefenbrunnen ist die älteste Mühle im Raum Zürich, die noch in Betrieb ist. Fast täglich wird hier Mehl produziert.
Die Mühle ist aber auch Museum.
In der Dauerausstellung über drei Stockwerke erzählt eine imposante Maschinerie aus Rädern, Trichtern, Rüttlern, Laufriemen und Holzrohren vom aufwendigen Weg vom Korn zum Brot und dem uralten Handwerk der Müllerei. Auch in unseren Sonderausstellungen geht es immer ums Essen; das Essen von damals, heute und der Zukunft, um die Lebensmittelproduktion, um den Genuss aber auch um Gesundheit und Ökologie.
Das Angebot des Museums wird ergänzt durch eine reiche Palette an Workshops und Führungen für Kinder und Erwachsene. Besonders beliebt sind die Backschule, Führungen durch die historische Mühle und die Sonderausstellungen.
