The current special exhibition “Urban Veggies” has managed to draw a large audience. Experienced gardeners have shown an interest as well as people without a green thumb. Reason enough to extend the popular exhibition into the winter and spring season.
The cold, windy weather forces even the most motivated gardener to a period of rest. The Mühlerama takes that chance to invite our visitors to various events. In February, a panel with Hannes Hug awaits in Miller’s Studio. Two different workshops with garden expert Christine Odermatt prepare interested visitors for the upcoming gardening season: one workshop revolves around the tomato, the other one around vegetable seedlings, guaranteeing a successful harvest later in the year.
For primary school classes we offer the popular workshop “Icicle, Roxy and Feurio! All veggies or what?”. Secondary school classes learn how to make their own vegetable chips in our workshop “Chips instead of Veggies” while learning loads of interesting vegetable facts.
